I love the intimate connection between these Desert Date Trees (or Balanites aegyptiaca), reminding me of my connection with the African wilderness.

Staring at trees gives me a sense of calmness. It has been scientifically proven that staring at a tree reduces your blood pressure and lowers anxiety. Many people say they can feel a tree's vibrational energy when placing their hand upon its bark. With their deep roots, trees carry significant grounding energy. In many African myths and stories, the tree is portrayed as an ancestral symbol of wisdom and authority.

You can find these Desert Date trees on Savanna plains like the Maasai Mara. The fruits look like a date, hence the name and is used to treat coughs.
