An elephant’s tail can tell us (and other elephants) a lot about the animal. More than you might imagine. Elephants use their tails to communicate with each other. The raising of the tail can mean that the elephant is either fearful, highly playful or intensely excited.

Baby ellies sometimes hold on to the tail of older elephants while they are walking, for guidance, security or just to slow down the elephant.

I just love elephants and the structure of their skin. Look at these details! Amazing to compare with other elephant close ups, like Elephant's Eye and Trunk.

The only animal that needs an elephant tail, as with a tusk or trunk, is the elephant. Watching them roaming the wilderness safely, that is the only lucky charm we need.

Framing

The prints have been sized specifically to fit with standard universal and readily available framing sizes, making it possible to purchase a frame directly from a local supplier.
